I'm a homeopath, but do I have to be a business owner?

Yikes - this a real conflict many skilled and passionate people run into. My dad was a dentist and in business for himself. He was clear with us that this was not something he loved. He wanted to help people feel better, but the business end of things was not appealing to him. As a matter of fact, it was probably his biggest stress.

I wouldn't have guessed that I'd follow in my father's footsteps as a care provider and business owner (although I get much joy from the pride he shows over my newest life choice). I'm much like him in that my relationships with the people I am caring for does not jive in my mind with entrepreneurship. However, I've come to terms that I have developed a much needed skill and this is how I make my way in the world (ie, pay my bills). I personally have found great value in working with a doctors, nutritionists, therapists, trainers and homeopaths at different times in my life for myself and my family members. I paid them all money to this help and in most cases, received the value I expected. I now offer help to those who value homeopathy as a modality and am extremely honored to be able to make a living doing so. This is how I've leaned to balance caring for people and charging money to do so. I keep it basic and simple in my mind.

On that note, I also have skills of orgainizing processes, procedures and have an easy affinity with technology, as well as being the granddaugher of a teacher, so sharing knowledge is in my blood.

As I've experienced the challenges of practice, I have learned ways to turn those into opporunities and strengths. I feel this could be valualbe to others who are facing similar challenges.

So today I offer my first mini-episode of Simple Hacks for manging your homeopathy practice. This series will offer short and easy to follow instructions on ways to make the businness end of your day-to-day life as a homeopath easier and more effective to manage so you can focus more time on homeopathy and healing. This will be basic and simple.

Todays tutorial will be for the Mac users who recieve muliple screenshots or photos from a client that should be stored as one document in thier file.
